Two normal login modes are "Welcome Screen" and "Classic Mode" (which prompts for Username and Password like on Win2K).

<Ctrl><Alt><Delete> is not for normal WinXP Welcome Screen, but brings up the Windows Task Manager after logged on.

If desired (for like single user and system access is limited) then you can also just turn off your password all together (i.e., remove it via Control Panel | Users Accounts, select user, etc.). But I do not do that...

In other mode, you can disable <Ctrl><Alt><Delete> and activate auto login as well (tis even less secure, some do it, but not me :)).
