Is there a way to set the number of post it takes to go to the next page from my end? so i could have more or less post shown, untill it goes to a new page?

On this board, or on your own board? That is determined by the admin settings...

Just out of curiosity, how many posts would you prefer per page?

well when i get on boards i normaly set it really high. normaly like around 20-30 or so. because most topics dont get more than that so i like to keep them all on one page, its just im really lazy and all. :P

We have it set to ten right now, which is a bit lower than most boards. It does help when the posts get long, but can be a pain when the posts are just one or two sentences...

yeah i agree about it gets to be a pain if people dont post more than a few words. but i can live with whatever you feel is best.

There's a MOD you can add so each member can choose. I tried it and it worked to an extent, but there were some problems when the user had the numbers set higher than the default settings.
10-15 is usually good, IMO. Any more than that can make for a really long page when the posts have more content.
10-15 is good, anymore than that and the dial-uppers get pissy. I have noticed one very strange thing though. Sometimes when someone post a really long message, especialy if it is the first message, it will only show like 3-4 other messages and then go to the next page, not real sure why it does that exactly. I havn't noticed it so much on my board because a lot of my people just lack any sense of creativity and reason and they end up just posting emotes all over the place and nothing else causing shorter post, but on here i have seen it more than a few times.
